Job Title: Laboratory Technician at a Dairy Cooperative

Description: Use all of our companies technical assets to help Dairy farmers increase their on farm profits while also increasing animal health and productivity. Collect and process data on dairy farms. This includes weighing and sampling the milking cow's production, recording all herd activities (fresh events, breeding dates, veterinary check-up results, dry dates, sold dates) that have occurred since last visit and conducting tests on raw milk (farm bulk tanks) for bacteria, somatic cell, lab past and preliminary cts as well as antibiotic testing. Maintain client relationship and provide reports to assist farmers in management decisions.

Degree Required: HS

  • High School Diploma is a diploma awarded for the completion of high school. In the United States and Canada, it is considered the minimum education required for government jobs and higher education. An equivalent is the GED or General Educational Development test.
